Imagine what it will feel like to not worry about leaking wee, dashing to the toilet or feeling uncomfortable down below.

Do you dream of bouncing on your kid’s trampoline?

Would you like to enjoy running without wearing pads?

Maybe there is an activity that you’ve stopped altogether because you know you will have an accident?

You deserve to feel strong, confident and happy.

It’s time to stop searching online for quick fixes and start your journey back to pelvic floor happiness

Come with me and I’ll guide you every step of the way.

There’s no quick fix

…but there IS so much we can do!

I remember when my pelvic floor first let me down. I was devastated! I tried the usual route of trying Kegels but they didn’t work for me.

That’s when I started to research and study the way our whole body works in relation to the pelvic floor.

I just knew there had to be a way to help my pelvic floor muscles by looking at how my body worked as a whole.

I went on such a journey of discovery and learned how to realign, stretch and strengthen my body to help my pelvic floor muscles work.

And I did it. I rehabilitated my pelvic floor with a combination of corrective exercise, breathing techniques and lifestyle changes.

I can help you too.

Here are some stories from women just like you.

Kelly (1:1 client)

Kelly achieved the results she wanted after just one session

“Clare helped me to understand how holding stress in my body can make the urge to go for a wee worse so we looked at relaxation techniques, breathing, stretching etc to help me manage that need to rush to the toilet. I immediately felt at ease telling her about my toilet troubles! She’s so knowledgeable and listened to me carefully before providing practical advice for me to implement. We also had a giggle and it was a really enjoyable session together.”

Sam’s story

“I just wanted to email you to say thank you for your committed and super helpful guidance and teachings. I do feel a difference and I am challenging myself to walk downstairs using both feet (instead of holding the bannister and leading with right leg one foot at a time) with great success. I have over the last 4 years (aged 44 then) changed from being a relatively fit gym goer, 5 sessions per week, and leisurely swimmer with no pelvic floor issues to a 48 year old with limited mobility and pelvic floor hell menopausal woman with a fibromyalgia diagnosis. It has been really traumatic and debilitating. Slowly but surely I do feel stronger already.”

Dierdre’s story

“Just finished a 30 minute consultation with my women’s physio. I told her about my discussions with you and she confirmed that my x rays show that I do have a tense pelvic floor! So pleased I found you as she’s pleased with my progress.”

And some more comments from women just like you:

“I now have awareness of the way that things like my monthly cycle, clothing and sitting position impact on my pelvic floor. I didn’t know there was a link before”

“I feel I can hold more urine”

“I can now enjoy jumping on my kids’ trampoline”

“I feel like the urgency and leaking has lessened”

“I feel stronger and more aware”

“I feel like the course has really helped me to develop a “whole body” approach to pelvic floor health, and it’s made me think much more about posture and alignment.”

About me

Clare Makin

"I believe that everyone can benefit from a safe and sustainable yoga practice. I carefully create inclusive yoga classes that focus on strength, mobility and balance. We all have different bodies, different abilities and different goals. Each person's yoga practice is personal to them and my role is to guide you on your journey.

I've been practising yoga for over 20 years and in 2016 decided that I wanted to expand my knowledge further so decided to train as a yoga teacher. Since then I have completed 2 teacher trainings in 'traditional hatha yoga' and 'yoga with a focus on the science of movement.'

I've loved the power of movement since childhood when I studied ballet, tap and disco dance. I've always been fascinated in how our bodies move and how we can learn new ways of using our body which benefit our whole wellbeing.

My interest in women's health started when I rehabilitated my pelvic floor with a full body approach. I learned how to realign, stretch and strengthen my body to improve the function of my pelvic floor. Now I'm passionate about sharing what I've learned with others!"

Clare is a qualified yoga teacher (500hrs) and certified Your Pelvic Matters instructor, with a background in dance training.
