Frequently Asked

.What style of yoga do you teach?

I combine everything I know about movement and what the body needs to create classes and sequences that support your whole body and mind. We start and end like a traditional yoga class with breathing and relaxation, and in the middle we have fun moving the body in a variety of ways that will help you feel better.

Should I do Kegels for my Pelvic Floor?

I never prescribe Kegels because I don’t believe they offer a useful long term strategy for good pelvic floor health. I work holistically – mind and body – to address imbalances that will give you long and lasting results.

How often should I exercise as perimenopausal women?

The answer will be different for each person, depending on your goals and current health. If you’re starting from scratch, take time to build up slowly and ensure your pelvic floor is responsive before progressing any exercise programme. If you already exercise and want to do more make sure have guidance from a qualified women’s health specialist.
